Once upon a time, there was a little boy called Aaron. He was cute and loving. He lived with his parents and grandparents. He loved to read the storybooks but was unable to read the difficult words as he was too small to understand so used to keep watching the picture and try to understand. He used to roam around in the house with the books to find someone to read for him. His mother used to tell him a new story every night.
Aaron was good in his studies, he knew many poems and songs. He used to complete his homework on time. He used to keep on singing the songs the whole day. He used to play games with his grandparents. His parents and grandparents enjoyed this a lot. His father was too busy due to office work so was unable to give him much time, however, his mother, grandmother, and grandfather used to always be with him.
One day his Grandparents had to go to their hometown due to some work. As Grandparents were not at home all the responsibility of the house was on Aaron’s mother so she was unable to give him enough time. Every night Aaron used to tell his mother to read a storybook for him. However, after working the whole day she used to get tired so she was unable to read. Aaron used to get bored so he used to go behind his mother so that she could play with him. To make him sit in one place she told him to watch TV.
Aaron used to always be with his books, so he never watched TV. He started watching cartoons. He liked watching cartoons because of the way they used to move, speak and do the action. Aaron used to sit for hours in front of the TV. He started getting away from his books. His books and toys would be lying here and there. He stopped doing his homework. He didn’t realize when that changed into an addition. Teachers started complaining that his homework was incomplete. She couldn’t understand what to do so she told his grandparents everything about him and told them to come back home.
The next day his grandparents came back home. He was very happy looking at them. They didn’t say anything to him, just thought of observing him first. They saw that Aaron was sitting the whole day in front of the TV watching cartoons. Kids get very fast attracted to animated things. They started spending their time with him playing games like before so that he doesn’t have time to watch TV.
They read storybook books for him. Made him say poems and sing songs for them. His mother started telling him stories every night like before. His father started spending time with him. It took time and effort to change him and get him back. After a few days, he started to complete his homework and started to live like before. Now he is very happy spending time with his family playing games, reading stories, poems and singing songs.
Moral of the story – We should do everything within limits or else that will change into an addition. We can watch tv but within certain limits.
Once upon a time, there lived a married couple in the United States of America. He was working as an engineer in a very good firm. They had a cute little daughter. She was very small so his wife used to be at home taking care of her. Their married life was going very smoothly and they were very happy with each other. They had taken a new house and car on loan. One day there was an argument that happened with his manager due to which he had to leave his job.
He tried to look for a new job but he was unable to find one. He was giving several interviews every day but nothing happened. Almost 3 months passed, and there was no saving left. Day by day he was losing his hope. He was getting several calls and notices from the bank as he was unable to pay his EMI. Finally, the bank people arrived at his home and said they have to pay the EMI within 1 week or they have to vacate the house as it will be auctioned.
One week passed and the bank people arrived at home. They told them to vacate the house immediately as they wanted to put the seal. They said it will be auctioned after 2 days. Now they didn’t have a place to stay so he told his wife to take their daughter to her grandmother’s house. His wife refused to go, however, she had to agree for her daughter as she was too small. He went to one of his friend’s houses to stay for a few days. He asked his friends if they could help him to find a new job, however, there was no vacancy left.
Two days passed and it was the auction day so he could not understand what to do. The auction was done. After completing the same the bank had taken their amount and the rest was given to him. After completing the procedure, he collected and counted whatever he was left with. It was just $70, which was very little for him and his family to survive. He became very sad and he looked at his past life and realized that nothing is left with him. How to fulfill the basic needs of his family was a big question in front of him. What should I do with this $70? I can’t even start something of my own with such a small amount.
He was passing by a garden when he saw the kids playing with their parents, he remembered his wife and daughter. He thought of talking to his wife but couldn’t understand what to talk to her as she would get worried. “What should I tell them?” I am bankrupt now. Everything is over, nothing is left with me. He sat at the nearby bench thinking what to do and where to go.
A man was sitting next to him reading the newspaper. He borrowed it from him to read it. He read that the government has organized today an auction of a gold mine. He thought instead of sitting here, let’s go there and check the gold mine. He left from there and went to that place. When he went there, he saw that no one else had come to the auction to buy that gold mine. He thought anyhow the $70 won’t help him to survive. So he thought to use that for the bid on the gold mine. After some time, it was announced that he won the auction as no one had turned up and that big gold mine was his.
The Mason started digging the gold mine however nothing was found in that mine. He just thought for a while and said to himself now that $70 has also gone. The Mason who dug the mine came to him and said; Sir, what should I do? I have got money for today till 5 pm. Now you are the owner of this mine, if you will say to dig more, I will do and if you will say to go, I will leave. So he thought, it’s only 2 pm and 3 hours are still left.
If you have got the money for today then why waste that time so start digging for some more time. The Mason started digging. Approximately, 3 feet of mine were dug, and the most shocking moment was that real gold was found in that mine. That man was the owner of this gold now. And within a few seconds, he became a millionaire. His life was completely changed with this twist.
The moral of this story: You should never, ever give up in your life. Always remember, if God closes one door, he opens 2 more doors for us. You never know when your life will take a twist. So just trust yourself and stay positive. Even if the whole world leaves your hand doesn’t give up because God will always hold your hand and will never let you fall.
