Once upon a time, there was a family of tortoises. As you all know that tortoises have a very long life. Some of them even live over 100 years, also they walk very slowly, they take years to travel from one place to another.
So there was a family, who decided to go for an outing during vacations. They took 7 years to plan where to go, how to go and how to manage everything. Finally, when they decided everything, it took 1 year to finalize where to stay. Once they reached their destination it took 6 months to unpack their stuff.
As now they have settled to the new place, after so much of hard work they felt very hungry so they decided to eat something, however, they realized that they forgot the most important thing and that was salt. Now as it was a big problem, they called a family meeting to decide who will bring the salt. After a lot of discussions, they came to a conclusion that the younger one should be sent to bring the salt as he walks very fast than others and he can get soon.
So the head of the family called the youngest tortoise and told him to go and bring the salt, However, he refused to go. So they asked him the reason, he said you will finish all the stuff which we have brought with us before I come back. Hence all the family members started to make him understand and request him to bring the salt. Finally, he agreed to bring the salt. Now, as the days passed, months and then it was 3 years but the youngest didn’t come back. Now everyone was very upset and felt so hungry that they couldn’t wait and finally decided to eat the food.
As soon as they opened the stuff and started eating, the younger tortoise shouted and came in front of them from behind the bushes where he was hiding for the past 3 years. They looked at each other and the younger one said, I don’t trust you all, I knew you won’t wait for me. Now as I’m angry with you all, I will not go to bring the salt. So, this is a short story but it has many deep meanings and lessons to learn from it, like the trust between the family members, respecting each other’s hard work and many more.
Moral of this story – “We get from the universe the same what we expected if we send the vibrations of distrust and betrayal, we will get the same from the universe however, we blame others for betraying us”. This is what happened with the younger tortoise. He waited behind the bushes for 3 years, Instead, he should have trusted his family and should have brought the salt. It wouldn’t have taken him so long to come back, he would have reached before time and the trust wouldn’t have broken.moralofstory
