There is nothing more beautiful than someone who goes out of their way to make life beautiful for others. Take the time to help other people without expecting a reward or gratitude is definitely important in living an optimistic life. Read the short stories for kids and children to teach them kindness.
There used to be a pleasant, diligent and empathetic painter. A rich man resided in the same city. One day the wealthy guy contacted the painter and assigned him the duty of renovating a yacht. The painter agreed to repaint the sailboat and charged him $100 for it.
With complete commitment, the painter painted the entire boat very well and wonderfully. He spotted a small hole in the boat’s lower part when he was conducting his work. So without informing the boat owner, he repaired that hole. The sailboat was ready for sailing now.
The following day, his owner contacted him and gave him a $1000 cheque. The painter saw the cheque and told the owner, “Sir, our contract was only for $100, so why did you provide me additional money? The owner remarked; you can’t even think of what wonder you did for me. Sir, there was a little hole in the boat, it wasn’t a significant problem.
This wasn’t part of my job, but that wasn’t an enormous task. The owner claimed I noticed before that the boat’s base had a hole, but my family didn’t know. My family members grabbed that boat and sailed to the sea yesterday without telling me. At that time, I had no contact with them.
What was my position at a certain point you can’t even think? Finally, I acknowledged that my family would not return because nobody knew about the breach in the boat. But eventually, after a while, I walked away and watched my family come back in the same boat. All of them were glad and had a lot of fun. After they got out of the boat, I walked in and found that you had already re-established the hole. I can’t tell you how pleased I was at that moment. I was for a bit while beyond this planet, and it was only because of you.
Your work for me is invaluable. And I can’t afford the compensation you merit. It’s only a small gesture of love I offered you. The moral of the tale is that you can do little extra apart from your responsibility, but you can’t understand how it will help others. It may transform the life of anybody. So do little more and help others in their lives.moralofstory
